This year’s biennial event will be held on Saturday, March 24 at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.

The 2018 chairs are a Who’s Who in the Maryland business community, heading successful companies in a variety of industries. Money raised from the gala is integral to supporting programs, projects and services around LifeBridge Health, which is one of the largest, most comprehensive providers of health services in Maryland.

“It is fitting that our chairs reunite for this iconic anniversary. Nearly 1,000,000 patients, residents and families have benefited from funds raised since the Magic of Life Gala began 20 years ago,” says Neil Meltzer, the president and CEO of LifeBridge Health.

He adds, “There are no adequate words to tell these women and men how much their efforts mean to the individuals in the communities we serve, so from the bottom of my heart, I will simply say, ‘thank you.’”

Comedian Dana Carvey, one of Saturday Night Live’s most popular cast members, will headline the gala. Among his most popular characters are Church Lady, Garth of Wayne’s World, Hans of Hans & Franz, and Grumpy Old Man.
