Deborah Macy Named Director of Northwest Hospital's ER-7
Northwest Hospital in Randallstown has named
Deborah Macy, BSN, director of the hospital's ER-7 Emergency Department.
"With more than 15 years of experience in emergency and
trauma services, we are excited to have Deborah join our talented health care
team in ER-7,” said Susan Jalbert, RN, vice president of patient services
at Northwest Hospital.
"Her understanding of managing critical care departments
is a valuable asset as we continue to evolve our services to help serve the
growing population in Northwest Baltimore County.”
As director of the Emergency Department, Macy is
dedicated to providing patients with the best care possible. She, along with
support from the hospital's senior leadership and medical staff, is committed to
implementing changes throughout the department, such as increasing patient flow
and decreasing wait times, to help better serve the community.
"Being in the Emergency Department can be a roller
coaster of emotions for patients and their families,” said Macy. "Our goal is to
provide quality medical care and be as unintrusive as possible in our patients'
lives. We are working hard to make people's experience in the hospital pleasant
so they can focus on their health.”
Macy received a bachelor of science in Nursing and is
presently working master's degree in Health Administration. Prior to coming to
Northwest Hospital, Macy served as director of Emergency, Trauma and Critical
