Michael A. Williams, M.D., Named President of International Society for Hydrocephalus and CSF Disorders
Baltimore, MD – Michael A. Williams, M.D., medical director of LifeBridge Health’s Sandra and Malcolm Berman Brain & Spine Institute (BSI),
has been named president of the International Society for Hydrocephalus and Cerebrospinal Fluid Disorders (ISHCSF)
. The announcement was made at the association’s conference in Kyoto, Japan.
The mission of the ISHCSF is to “advance the art and science of the field of clinical care and research in hydrocephalus and CSF disorders and thereby promote the best possible care for patients with these disorders.”
Williams is among the world’s most recognized specialists in the field of hydrocephalus and CSF disorders. He is the director of the BSI’s Adult Hydrocephalus Center at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, which provides internationally recognized expertise in the diagnosis, treatment and management of adults with hydrocephalus and related conditions.
