Sinai Hospital to Honor First Baby Born during the AFC Championship Game

The first baby born at Sinai Hospital after the kickoff for the Ravens vs. Patriots AFC Championship game will receive a $3,000 savings bond, compliments of the Herman & Walter Samuelson Children’s Hospital at Sinai.

The prize amount was raised from $2,000 to $3,000 given that no baby was born between kickoff of last Sunday’s Texans vs. Ravens game and the promotion deadline of 12 midnight.

“It was highly unusual for us to go 11 hours without a baby being born here,” says Neil Meltzer, Sinai Hospital’s president and COO. “Besides a Ravens win, we don’t expect this week to be a repeat of the last.”

Here are this week’s rules:

·    The first baby born at The BirthPlace at Sinai between 3:00 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. EST on Sunday, January 22, will win a $3,000 savings bond.

·    If the Ravens become the AFC champions, the Samuelson Children’s Hospital will award a $5,000 savings bond on Super Bowl Sunday.
