Sinai Hospital to Honor First Baby Born during Ravens Playoff Games

The Baltimore Ravens might not be the only winners this coming Sunday. The first baby born at Sinai Hospital after the kickoff for the Texans vs. Ravens Divisional Round playoff game will receive a $1,000 savings bond, compliments of the Herman & Walter Samuelson Children’s Hospital at Sinai.

“To celebrate the Ravens’ success and help cheer on their playoff efforts, we thought it would be fun to honor the first baby born here during the game,” says Neil Meltzer, president and COO of Sinai Hospital. “That baby will literally be able to say he or she was born a Ravens fan,” Meltzer jokes.

Unlike the game of football, the rules are simple:

·    The first baby born at The BirthPlace at Sinai between 1:00 and 11:59 p.m. EST on Sunday, January 15, will win the $1,000 savings bond.

·    If the Ravens advance to the AFC Championship game, the contest will continue the following week with a $2,000 savings bond being offered; if the Ravens go to the Super Bowl, the Samuelson Children’s Hospital will award a $5,000 savings bond during that game.
