LifeBridge Health Announces New Board Members


LifeBridge Health announces the election of new members to its board of directors as well as to the boards of Sinai Hospital, Northwest Hospital, and Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, all LifeBridge Health centers. Below is a listing of the new members and their respective boards.

LifeBridge Health: 
Jon Koman, M.D., an orthopedic surgeon, serves as the medical director of LifeBridge Health Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation powered by Physiotherapy Associates. He is a sports medicine physician for Pikesville, Owings Mills and Franklin High Schools in Baltimore County.

Sinai Hospital:
Nupur Parekh Flynn
is managing director/co-director of marketing at Brown Capital Management. She is a member of the Open Society Institute – Baltimore’s Leadership Council and a former trustee of McDaniel College and HopeWell Cancer Support.

Ailene Mash Fradin has most recently served as vice president of Zn Inc. and South Tek Trailers. She also has been on the boards of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and the Nathan and Pauline Mash Foundation.

Donald Himelfarb is a consultant and serves on the board of Arc Baltimore. Prior to his retirement in 2006, Himelfarb acted as president and chief operating officer for Dollar Thrifty Car Rental.

Daniel Hirschhorn is chairman and president of the American Trading and Production Corporation. He acts as a director for numerous Baltimore area nonprofit organizations.

P.J. Pearlstone is a financial adviser with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. He also currently serves on the boards of THE ASSOCIATED: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore, the JCC of Greater Baltimore and other organizations.

Leslie Footlick Schaller acts as the director of media and marketing at Bond Distributing Company. She is a board member of THE ASSOCIATED Women and is chair of the Lion of Judah – Pomegranate Society.

Northwest Hospital:
Paul L. Saval is the president of Saval Foods Corporation. He currently serves as the vice chairman of government relations on the Baltimore Jewish Council and as executive board member and fundraising chair of Beth Israel Synagogue.

Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital:
Robert I. Damie
is a C.P.A. and a retired partner at Damie, Rothman, Meier & Kronglas, P.A. He holds memberships with the AICPA and the Maryland Association of CPAs and acts as a trustee of the Herman & Walter Samuelson Foundation. He recently retired from the Northwest Hospital board of directors.

Scott London has been a practicing attorney at the Law Office of Fred S. London, P.C., since 1996. He also acts as a board member of the American Association of Health Care Administrative Management – Maryland Chapter.

Brenda Weil Mandel is the president of Atlantic Construction Corp. She is active on the board of Beth El Congregation and Israel Bonds. She recently retired from Sinai Hospital’s board of directors.

Steven Wions is vice president at America’s Realty LLC. He is on the Baltimore Jewish Council Board and serves as THE ASSOCIATED campaign liaison to the Baltimore Jewish Council.
