Sinai Hospital of Baltimore has received a $1 million gift from the Moser Family Philanthropic Fund to support the hospital’s community outreach programs. The gift is in memory of M. Peter Moser, a former Sinai Board of Directors member for 25 years and a trustee of
Sinai’s parent company LifeBridge Health since its inception in 1998. A naming celebration will be held on September 14 to thank the family for their gift.
“Peter’s devotion to improving the health and well-being of our community was instrumental in shaping the mission of both Sinai Hospital and
LifeBridge Health,” said Warren Green, president and CEO of LifeBridge Health. “This gift will ensure that those efforts continue and will serve as a lasting tribute to his memory.”
The gift will help fund family violence prevention programs and other non-medical programs designed to improve the social well-being of the Northwest Baltimore community. These programs will now be referred to as the M. Peter Moser Community Initiatives Program.
Reaching out to the community is a critical part of
Sinai Hospital’s mission. It does this through a wide variety of programs, screenings, classes and preventative health care services, many of which are provided free or at a low cost.
Sinai Hospital is part of
LifeBridge Health, one of the largest, most comprehensive providers of health services in northwest Baltimore.
LifeBridge Health also includes
Northwest Hospital,
Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital,
Courtland Gardens Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and related subsidiaries and affiliates. For more information, visit
