Sinai Hospital Welcomes New Members to its Board of Directors


Sinai Hospital of Baltimore is pleased to announce the addition of new board members, Stanley Friedler, M.D., Eric Levitt, Barry Levin, Esq., R. Donald McDaniel Jr., Robert Post, Philip Sachs, and Stan Stovall. All new members serve a three-year term, from October 2007 to September 2010.

Friedler is an orthopedic surgeon and real estate developer. A graduate of the University of Maryland Medical School, Friedler completed his internship at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and residency at Children's Hospital of the District of Columbia.  Friedler has privileges at Northwest and Sinai Hospitals.
Levitt is a managing partner with Regional Investments LLC, and owner, with Paul Steinhardt, of Regional Homes, a homebuilder currently in eight communities in the Baltimore metro area. He is a past president of the Carroll County chapter of the Home Builders Association of Maryland.

Levin is a partner/attorney at the law firm of Saul Ewing LLP, practicing in the areas of business, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, and owner managed businesses.  Prior to joining Saul Ewing in 2003, Levin was an associate at Gordon, Feinblatt, Rothman, Hoffberger & Hollander and Frank, Bernstein, Conaway & Goldman. He also served as in-house counsel at Siena Corporation and was a partner at Siskind, Grady, Grosen, Hoover & Levin, P.A. He is a graduate of the Gilman School, Franklin and Marshall College and the University of Baltimore School of Law.

McDaniel is the president and CEO of Sage Growth Partners LLC, where he is responsible for developing, executing and refining Sage's brand and positioning strategy.  He is also a member of the faculty in health economics in the Carey Business School's Business of Medicine MBA program at the Johns Hopkins University.

Post is president and CEO of TravelCLICK Inc., a privately held media and technology firm serving the hospitality industry. In 2007, Post was recognized with the CEO of the Year Award from the Illinois Information Technology Association.
Sachs is a senior vice president at Smith Barney, a division of Citigroup Global Capital Markets Inc., a global, full-service financial firm that provides brokerage, investment banking and asset management services to corporations, governments and individuals around the world.

Stovall is the weekday morning and 5 p.m. news anchor for WBAL-TV, the NBC affiliate in Baltimore. Voted "Baltimore's Best Male News Anchor” by Baltimore Magazine in 2004, 2005 and 2006, Stovall has been a television news reporter and journalist for over three and a half decades. In 2001 Stovall received a Baltimore City Council Proclamation of Merit for more than 20 years of journalism excellence and dedication to the Baltimore community.
