LifeBridge Health Names Magic of Life Gala Chair

LifeBridge Health is proud to announce Lynn Abeshouse as the 2008 chair of the Magic of Life Gala. This biennial event raises funds for a variety of programs and services throughout LifeBridge Health, a nonprofit regional health care organization dedicated to providing exceptional medical care with unmatched customer service. In her role as chair, Ms. Abeshouse is sharing her vast experience and expertise from the business world, as well as her commitment to the community. Ms. Abeshouse is the managing principal of Abeshouse Partners, a commercial real estate brokerage firm. She also currently serves on the boards of local civic and charitable organizations, including Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and THE ASSOCIATED: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore. The LifeBridge Health Magic of Life Gala co-chairs are Thomas F. Obrecht, president of Obrecht Properties, LLC, and Richard F. Blue Jr., president of Blue & Obrecht Realty, LLC. "I am proud to chair the 2008 Magic of Life Gala and grateful to Tommy Obrecht and Richie Blue for their support and commitment. The funds raised from the gala will continue to allow LifeBridge Health to enhance the lives of patients and their families at their most vulnerable time.. Both my father and grandfather were surgeons serving LifeBridge Health and the community, and I am honored to continue my family's legacy of service through my fundraising efforts,” says Ms. Abeshouse. The 2008 gala is the fifth Magic of Life event since the inception of LifeBridge Health in 1998. The gala has consistently earned the distinction of being the largest one-day nonprofit fundraising event in Baltimore history. In 2006, the Magic of Life Gala raised $1.7 million for the Children's Hospital at Sinai. "We are indebted to community members for supporting our efforts to bring the highest quality of medical care and compassion to our patients, their families and our neighborhoods,” says Warren Green, president and CEO of LifeBridge Health. "Their generosity enables LifeBridge Health to fulfill this mission.” The 2008 event is scheduled to be held Saturday, April 12, at the Hippodrome Theatre at the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center. LifeBridge Health is one of the largest health care organizations in the state of Maryland and includes Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Northwest Hospital Center, Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, Jewish Convalescent & Nursing Home, and related subsidiaries and affiliates. ### More News...
