Lifebridge Health Launches Maryland's First Consumer-Oriented Medical Magazine


LifeBridge Health has developed a new magazine geared toward giving the public a quick and easy reference to many local doctors, and providing them with information about what is new in the world of health care. Md. MD is the first of its kind in the Maryland region because it is hospital-based, yet completely consumer-oriented.

"As one of Maryland's leading health care providers, we thought it was important to provide our community with an all-inclusive guide that includes how to reach some of the top doctors in the area,” said Warren Green, president and CEO, LifeBridge Health. "It also features articles devoted entirely to general health and wellness issues.”

Md. MD includes information focusing on health care and a listing of LifeBridge Health physicians, including their contact information. The magazine is produced by LifeBridge Health and is supported financially by advertising revenue. The magazine is being sent to nearly 50,000 homes in the LifeBridge Health service area. It can also be found at area NeighborCare Pharmacies and physician offices.

LifeBridge Health is a regional health organization that includes Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Northwest Hospital Center, Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, Jewish Convalescent & Nursing Home and related subsidiaries and affiliates.
