Online Modules for Students and Instructors

Computer Training

PowerChart clinical documentation is part of our patient management system and every student must complete a blended learning process in order to access the patient record.

Computer training consists of two phases.

The 1st phase is to review PowerChart Web Based Tutorials (WBTs) and successfully complete online competency.

Note: Do not complete the learning tutorials more than 10 days prior to the start of your clinical placement.

Nursing Students Competency Modules

The 2nd phase of the computer training is the hands-on-applied scenario - an exercise that will allow you to apply knowledge gained from the PowerChart self-paced learning. The hands on practice will be scheduled by your clinical instructor and will take place at one of LifeBridge Health (LBH) computer labs. The exercise takes approximately 1 hour. Once you complete the applied scenario, you will be given student Cerner password.

Good Luck!
