Gillian Stavro, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist with specialization in neuropsychology. She received her masters and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from Michigan State University, where she specialized in neuropsychology. She completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship in the Division of Medical Psychology-Neuropsychology at the UCLA Semel Institute and Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital, where she also served as chief fellow of the Medical Psychology Assessment Center.
Dr. Stavro conducts neuropsychological assessments with adults who present with a variety of neurologic disorders and cognitive changes. Her areas of specialization include stroke, head injury, and attention disorders. She has published peer-reviewed research on adult attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and executive functioning. Dr. Stavro is a member of the International Neuropsychological Society and the American Psychological Association.
