This requisition is specifically for our Food Services Interview Day on November 20th, 2019. This event is RSVP only. No walk-ins will be allowed. After completing the application, a recruiter will contact qualified candidates to register them for a time slot.

Cook

Prepares and cooks food for hospital patients, employees, and visitors; ensures all foods are prepared on time and all work areas and equipment are maintained according to Hospital and departmental policies, safety and sanitation requirements. Duties performed will vary depending on specific areas assigned.

Requirements:  Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma or GED equivalent.  One to Three years’ experience. 

Dietary Aide

Job Summary: Performs a variety of routine manual tasks in the main kitchen and cafeteria about preparing and serving food to patients, employees and visitors. Duties performed will vary depending on specific area assigned.

Requirements:  Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma or GED equivalent. Less than one year of experience. Demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions. Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively verbally.

Food & Nutrition Host/Hostess

Job Summary: Responsible for preparing and delivering and picking up trays for patients, communicating pertinent information regarding menu preferences, delivering nourishments, taking inventory of floor supplies and re-supplying them to a par level. Works as team member with the patient/patient's family, nursing, and food service support to maximize patient meal satisfaction. Practices exceptional customer service always. Serves as primary liaison between patients and food service operations.

Requirements:  Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma: GED equivalent or High School certificate. Less than one year of experience.

Café Associate

Job Summary: Takes food orders from customers; records orders; prepares and serves food to customers; may operate cash register, control and order supplies; and maintains a sanitary work and dining area.

Requirements:  Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma or GED equivalent. Must be able to add, subtract and multiply.  Less than one year of experience.

Supervisor- Food Services

Under limited supervision, Assists Manager with bedside ordering of the Food and Nutrition Department. Directs the work of employees to ensure high-quality standards of operation and compliance with Patients' Room Service, the client, and government and accrediting agency standards and regulations.

Requirements: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. 1-3 years experience; Microsoft Office Suite; Basic computer skills; Standard Office Equipment; Critical thinking skills.
