|Title:||Health Equity Grand Rounds: Unnatural Causes (Sinai Hospital)|
|Start Time:||12:00 p.m.|
|End Time:||1:00 p.m.|
|Location:||Sinai Hospital (Zamoiski Auditorium); Northwest Hospital (McDonald Room)|
|Description:||Bring a bag lunch and join us in watching the “In Sickness and In Wealth” video segments from the critically acclaimed documentary series Unnatural Causes, which explores health inequalities between socioeconomic groups. Find out why people who are poor are often sicker and live an average of six years less than those who are wealthy – the answer will likely surprise you.|
Then with Martha Nathanson (LifeBridge Health vice president of Government and Community Engagement) and Pamela Young, Ph.D. (health equity consultant), we’ll discuss what can be done to address these disparities. We’ll also talk about what the Health Equity Task Force is accomplishing for LifeBridge Health and its patients.
This event will be held in two locations at the same time:
- At Sinai Hospital in the Zamoiski Auditorium
- At Northwest Hospital in the Pike Room (via video conference)
Please call 410-601-WELL (9355) to register.
