Levindale Auxiliary President’s Message

Presidents Message -

Hi everyone.  I'm so excited to begin my two year term as President of our wonderful Levindale Auxiliary.  On June 6, 2018, I was installed in a memorable ceremony in the Museum area of our lobby with delicious refreshments served in our Town Center.  I extend a big thank you to all committee members and especially Faye Brand.  All of your efforts made this installation such a success.

Deborah Graves, President and COO of Levindale, warmly welcomed us and provided valet parking for our evening event.   Our beautiful Donor Wall reveal showcased our new, magnificent extension for the first time.  Renowned artist, David Bacharach did an excellent job and we sincerely thank him for all his hard work.  I hope all of you will view this beautiful wall extension on your next visit.  We have so much to be thankful for in our lives; therefore, what better way to celebrate either a birthday, simcha or to honor the memory of a loved one than with a plaque on the Levindale Donor Wall.  Please contact our office at 410-601-2378 and we will be happy to discuss options with you.

We kicked off the year with our first board meeting on August 8.  During September and consistent with our holiday tradition, Yael Schwarzenberger and Jen Erez will be busy working with local children to design unique Rosh Hashanah cards which they will cheerfully deliver to all of our residents.  Soon afterwards they will have fun creating handmade decorations for the Levindale Sukkah.
We are eagerly planning many special, social events this year.  Please join us for the summer Snowball Party for our residents to be held on August 23rd on the outside porch between 2 – 3 p.m.  We will also host a fun Happy Hour in the Town Center on October 25th from 3 – 4 p.m.  Our wonderful Paid-up Membership Brunch will be held on Sunday, November 11th starting at 11:30 a.m.  and I hope all of you will be able to attend this exciting event.  We are in the process of ordering Chanukah gifts to distribute to our residents.  We are also gathering baskets of holiday treats to present to our dedicated Levindale staff.

As you can see, we have a busy agenda.  I hope you will join, support and participate in these many exciting activities.  Together we can make a difference and continue to enrich the lives of our residents.   I look forward to meeting you, hearing your ideas and partnering with you as we continue to keep Levindale Auxiliary strong and vital in these next two years.

The Auxiliary and I wish you a happy and healthy New Year!

I appreciate all of your support and the generosity of your time.
