Pediatric Cardiology offers consultation for evaluation and management of children with disorders of the cardiovascular system. This includes evaluation of infants and children with heart murmurs, palpitations, chest pain, syncope, cyanosis and cardiac dysrhythmias, among other conditions.
A full-time pediatric cardiologist at the Children’s Hospital works closely with patients and their families to develop individualized treatment plans. Depending on the severity of the condition, children may be referred to regional health care institutions for specialized care.
- Inpatient and outpatient Holter monitoring
Outpatient cardiology services are provided at our office at Mays Chapel, in coordination with Joel Brenner, M.D. and the Pediatric Cardiology Division of Johns Hopkins Hospital.
