Dove House Visiting Policy

COVID-19 VISITOR POLICY

Please note:
Given concerns around the spread of the Coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, we have changed our Dove House visitor policy.

Dove House Visitor Policy:

Visiting hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
•All visitors must check in at the visitor information desk.
•All visitors must complete a brief screening at every visit.
•Visitors must screen negative to be allowed to visit at Dove House.
•Visitors with flu-like symptoms (runny nose, fever and cough) will not be allowed to visit.
•No children under age 18 are allowed, unless they are the child of a patient at Dove House. This includes all public areas.
•A visitor may stay overnight but needs to be in the building prior to 7 p.m.
•Visitors should not gather in the common areas.
•Please do not congregate outside windows.
•Visitors should consider connecting with the patient in a manner other than an in-person visit.
•Non-COVID-19 patients may have two visitors; they must visit one at a time and wear masks while visiting.
•COVID-19 patients may have one visitor per day. That visitor must wear full personal protective equipment (PPE): gown, gloves, mask and face shield. Staff members will provide instruction on the proper donning and doffing of PPE. Visits should be brief with minimal direct contact with the patient for your protection.

•Visitors are asked to wear masks. Staff members are wearing masks as well.

We appreciate that this may be an inconvenience for patients and families. Thank you for your understanding.
