Yoga

Yoga has a rich history. Coming from ancient India, it is a multi-limbed practice that can help facilitate an individual's inner journey. Our classes focus on the physical postures (asanas) and breath work (pranayama). Yoga practice helps improve strength, flexibility and balance, and it promotes relaxation, calm and focus. 

Livestream Yoga Classes
Classes are taught by registered yoga teachers via livestream using the Zoom platform. Participants do not need a Zoom account to participate. 

Sessions run by calendar month, $40 for a 4-week session and $50 for a 5-week session.

Participants will be emailed a link and password to use to join the class. Participants may use a laptop, tablet or smartphone that has a camera, speaker, microphone and WiFi to join the class. Call 410-871-7000 for more information.

Livestream Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Thursdays, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. 
Instructor: Laurel Brennan, RYT 200

Laurel's Vinyasa Flow yoga is different every time and is particularly geared toward the present needs of the students in the class. The class focuses on alignment and core engagement to create safe poses and transitions for students at varied levels. Vinyasa connects the breath to the movement to help enhance focus; poses are designed to improve strength, flexibility and balance. 
 
Livestream Gentle Yoga 
Mondays, 9 – 10 a.m.
Thursdays, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Gentle Yoga classes are a great way to take it slower and still experience the benefits of yoga. Classes focus on releasing tension, connecting with the breath and helping students gain strength and flexibility. Gentle yoga uses classic hatha postures with slight variations to accommodate all levels of yoga students. 
 
Livestream Prenatal & Postpartum Yoga (physician consent required)
Fridays, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. 
Instructor: Laurel Brennan, RYT 200

In this yoga class, build strength and connect the breath to movement to promote relaxation and focus. Each class will incorporate variation to allow safe engagement at all stages of pregnancy and postpartum. Expecting mothers can enjoy connecting with their growing baby and their changing body in a way that supports a healthy pregnancy and delivery. New mothers can feel free to incorporate their new baby into poses or just give themselves an hour break. The class will focus on building strength in the core and pelvic floor.
