Melanie C. Brown, M.D., is the director of Brain Injury Rehabilitation at the LifeBridge Health Brain & Spine Institute. She earned her medical degree at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Brown completed her internship in internal medicine at Columbia University and her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Temple University in Philadelphia. She was a fellow in biomechanical movement analysis at the National Institutes of Health.
Dr. Brown was an assistant professor in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Johns Hopkins University before joining Sinai Hospital. She is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Dr. Brown's clinical interests include biomechanical movement analysis and brain injury rehabilitation.
