J. Michael Anderson, M.D., is the director of Rehabilitation for stroke and neuromuscular disorders at the LifeBridge Health Brain & Spine Institute. He completed his medical degree at the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University. He completed his internship and physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Anderson was a fellow at the Lothian Health Board, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, at the University of Edinburgh, and has taken post-graduate courses ranging from cerebral palsy to industrial musculoskeletal health. He is an associate professor in the Division of Rehabilitation Medicine, Department of Neurology, at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Anderson is board certified as a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation. His clinical interests include rehabilitation of brain-injured patients and stroke rehabilitation.
