Roy Ruehle, PA-C

Mr Ruehle PA-C is the Primary First Assistant to Dr Gandsas in most of the bariatric cases at Sinai Hospital. He works directly with Dr. Gandas, as a "second set of hands" and assists in almost all apsects the surgical procdure.

Mr Ruehle is a graduate of Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia PA. He has received the SURGERY GOLD STAR award in Proficency in 1991. In addition to being the primary sugrical preceptor for Essex Community College, Roy has been employed by Sinai Hospital's Deptartment of General Surgery for over 12 years.

During Pre-Op checks Roy reviews information, history, consents, labs, medications and makes any additional arrangements needed prior to surgery. In addition he supervises the preparation of patients in the surgical suite, and coordinates various staff members in any last minute arrangements for the planned surgery.
