During your stay, a registered nurse (RN) will be assigned to you each shift. Other nursing staff is available to assist with your care. There is a charge nurse for each unit who is responsible for the operations on your floor. If you have a particular concern or question about your care, please ask the charge nurse, clinical leader or manager to stop by and discuss it with you. 

Sinai is a community hospital as well as a teaching facility, under the supervision of your attending doctor; a medical resident (also called a house officer or intern) may be assigned to treat you. Other specialists may also be asked by your attending doctor to assist with your care. Please don’t hesitate to ask these specialists questions.

During your stay, you may also meet other professional staff, such as respiratory therapists, physical therapists, social workers, case managers or nutritionists.

A member of our Environmental Services department will clean your room daily. Host or Hostesses from Food and Nutrition Services will deliver your food for each meal.
