TITLE OF COURSE:	General Surgery Subinternship
COURSE DIRECTOR:	Adrian Barbul, MD
DESCRIPTION AND               GOALS OF COURSE:	The student will act as a subintern on the General Surgery Wards of Sinai Hospital and participate in the management of surgical patients.  Level of responsibility will be emphasized as the student is integrated into the house staff experience.  The student is expected to attend teaching rounds and surgical conferences.
