Radcliffe Jewelers and LifeBridge Health
hosted the annual LifeBridge Health Sports Challenge on Tuesday,
September 19, 2006 at the Chestnut Ridge Country
Club. The event featured tennis, golf, a putting contest, boxed lunches, snacks
and beverages on the golf course, a luxury raffle, and lavish hors d'oeuvres and
cocktails at the tournament's end.
More than $55,000 was raised at the Sports
Challenge and proceeds will provide financial relief for underserved cancer
patients being treated at Sinai Hospital and Northwest Hospital Center. These funds will assist with prescription drugs,
transportation to and from treatments and other expenses not covered by
insurance. It is only with the support and generosity of the LifeBridge Health
family and community that we are able to continue providing our patients with
the type of superior care for which we are known. Thank you to all our sponsors
and participants for helping us reach our goal!
The raffle featured two fabulous prizes:
1st Prize - Golf Vacation Package to
Las Vegas
Includes airfare
for two on Southwest Airlines (valid from any Southwest Airlines origin city to
any Southwest Airlines destination), three nights at the Bellagio Hotel, two
rounds of golf at Shadow Creek Golf Course and $1,000 spending cash.
