| This 3-year-old boy has Blount's disease, a condition that caused his right leg to bow and rotate internally (pigeon-toed). If not corrected, the condition would worsen. Correction at this age is usually permanent. |
After correction using a special oblique cut through the bone to simultaneously correct the angulation and rotation. The bone cut was fixed with internal screws.
