The Center for Joint Preservation and Replacement at
Sinai Hospital is a multi-disciplinary center that focuses on nonoperative and
surgical methods to treat joint pain and disorders while using the most
advanced technology.
At the Center, conservative methods are used to preserve the
natural function of the joint and increase its longevity. Such treatments
include physical therapy, medication, injections, and state-of-the-art gait
analysis. When conservative methods prove ineffective, the most advanced
surgical techniques are implemented.
Surgeons at the Center for Joint Preservation and Replacement
have performed more than 8,000 joint reconstruction and
joint replacement procedures.
