The ICLL operates under the co-direction of Dror Paley, MD, FRCSC, and John E. Herzenberg, MD, FRCSC, two internationally renowned specialists in the fields of limb lengthening and deformity reconstruction. Together, Drs. Herzenberg and Paley have performed more than 5,000 limb lengthening procedures and are frequent speakers on methods of limb lengthening and reconstruction at conferences around the world.

The Center's clinical staff is made up of health care professionals with specialized training and expertise in all aspects of orthopedics, limb lengthening, and reconstructive surgery. This interdisciplinary treatment team includes orthopedic surgeons, pediatricians, physiatrists, anesthesiologists, pain management specialists, physician's assistants, nurses, physical and occupational therapists, social workers, case managers, child life specialists, surgical and cast technicians, radiology technologists, administrators, secretaries, referral and financial coordinators, and other support staff.

In addition, the Center employs research staff who assist the Center's physicians in conductiong research to develop and improve methods of limb lengthening and reconstruction. The Center also employs its own full-time publishing team who are actively involved in the preparation of manuscripts for publication in journals and books and for presentation at scientific meetings and courses in the US and around the world.
