Alan Oshinsky, M.D., has been named otolaryngologist-in-chief for Northwest Hospital Center and Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Division of Otolaryngology. Oshinsky is a board-certified otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon.
Dr. Oshinsky has 19 years� experience treating patients in private practice,� said Erik Wexler, president and COO, Northwest Hospital Center. In addition, he has extensive academic and professional experience in the area of otolaryngology and head and neck surgery. He will be an excellent leader of the division, and we look forward to his work with us,� said Wexler.
As chief of Otolaryngology, Oshinsky plans to advance the division at both hospitals making ear, nose and throat (ENT) services readily available to the patients and physicians of the LifeBridge Health community. Our plan is to increase ENT procedures, operating room utilization and provide state-of-the-art care,� said Oshinsky.
We currently have an office on the Sinai Hospital campus and in the next few weeks we will be opening an office near Northwest Hospital,� said Oshinsky. This office will help to serve the outpatient needs of the local population and the doctors who
attend at Northwest Hospital.�
Oshinsky received his undergraduate degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa., and Northeastern University in Boston, Mass. He completed his medical degree at the Central University of the Caribbean School of Medicine at Cayey Bayamon, Puerto Rico. His residency in general surgery and otolaryngology was completed at University of Maryland Hospital. Oshinsky is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
