The Department of Urology provides comprehensive urologic care, including surgical and non-surgical management of urinary tract tumors, stone disease, urinary incontinence and erectile dysfunction (ED).
State-of-the-art techniques of approved procedures are used in the diagnosis and management of urologic problems. Several of our physicians have become expert in laparoscopic approaches to urologic surgery. Cryotherapy of certain tumors is also available. In addition, a new ultrasound machine has made brachytherapy (seeding) of prostate cancer more precise.
Biannual prostate screening is provided to the community free of charge.
