The Magic of Life Gala, LifeBridge Health's biennial major fundraising event, once again broke records by raising more than $1.7 million for pediatric programs and community initiatives. The gala took place on Saturday, March 25, 2006, at the Hippodrome Theatre at the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center in Baltimore.
J.M. Schapiro, president and CEO of Continental Realty Corporation, and his wife, Mindy, served as event chairs along with co-chairs Harriet and Jimmy Berg of Len Stoler, Inc.
The Magic of Life Gala included delicious cuisine from The Classic Catering People and a performance by Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter Kenny Loggins. Loggins was warmly welcomed by the crowd and performed such hits as "House at Pooh Corner", "Dangerzone" and "Footloose"
