Noah Lightman, M.D., has been named radiologist-in-chief, for Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and Northwest Hospital Center.
Lightman began his career with a private radiology group in 1977 has over 25 years of significant leadership experience.
As chief of Radiology, Lightman is responsible for working together with the health system administration to meet the needs and expectations of the medical staff and patients at both hospitals.
�
My goals as the new chief are to integrate new technologies such as Picture Archiving Communications System� (PACS) and 64 slice CAT scanning to improve patient care at Northwest and Sinai,� said Lightman.
Lightman is currently an assistant professor of radiology for Johns Hopkins University, and was recently awarded "Chief of the Year� by American Radiology Services, a private radiology group where he also holds a position.
Lightman received his undergraduate degree from Yeshiva University, New York, NY.� He completed his medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY.� His residency in Radiology was completed at Johns Hopkins University,
United States Public Health Hospital Center and Bronx Municipal Hospital Center. Lightman completed fellowship training in ultrasound and chest radiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital and University.��
