Philip Howard has been promoted to vice president of Campus Services
for�LifeBridge Health.�
In his previous position with LifeBridge Health, Howard was the director of
Facilities for�Sinai Hospital of
Baltimore, a LifeBridge Health center.
In his new position, Howard will direct the planning and management of all
Campus Services departments across the LifeBridge Health system. The departments
include Plant Operations, Clinical Engineering, Environmental Services/Laundry,
Security/Parking, Grounds, and the Campus Services Resource Center.� Howard
will also participate in strategic planning and establish a long-term plan for
the integration of services to support the objectives and mission of LifeBridge
Health.
My goals as the new vice president are to establish the
LifeBridge Health Campus Services division as the industry benchmark for service
excellence,� said Howard.� I also plan to challenge my team to look to the
future, understand the diverse and unique needs and expectations of our internal
and external customers, continue building strong relationships within the
organization, and develop and implement practical strategies that focus on
service responsiveness, openness and accountability,� said Howard.
Phil's experience is impressive, and I am sure he will be a wonderful leader
of the reorganized Campus Services division,� said Erik Wexler, president and
COO, Northwest Hospital Center and senior vice president of LifeBridge Health.
In the director of facilities position, Howard served at Sinai Hospital of
Baltimore as the Director of Facilities. In this position, Howard was
responsible for overall management of facilities operations, which included
maintenance, plant operations, planning and design, environmental services,
clinical engineering and campus grounds. His background and experience also
include director of Facilities at Georgetown University Hospital, Construction
and Project manager for Samuel Kroll, Inc., and director of Facilities
Management and Administrative Support at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
Combined, Howard has over 20 years of experience in the facility management
profession.
Howard earned his master�s of science degree in Business Management from
Johns Hopkins University, and a bachelor of science degree in Radio, Television
and Film with a secondary concentration in Architecture and Design from the
University of Maryland.�
Bob Turner, former vice president of Campus Services, is the new vice
president of Capital Improvements for LifeBridge Health.
LifeBridge Health is a regional
health organization, which also includes�Northwest Hospital
Center,�Levindale
Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital,�Jewish Convalescent
& Nursing Home, and related subsidiaries and affiliates.
