Welcome to the Agency Education
Resource Center Online. Throughout LifeBridge Health, new technology or
enhancements to existing technology will be deployed in the upcoming months.
Keeping the overall goal of patient safety in the forefront, this web site has
been designed to better prepare you to work throughout the System. LifeBridge Health
uses the Cerner Electronic Patient System. This system allows you to retrieve
patient information, enter orders, and chart vital patient information. Before
you are able to work, you must receive training on how to use the system. (There
is no one on the units to do this for you.)
Training Tutorials (CBT's) have been created to help you learn to use the PowerChart and FirstNet Cerner applications prior to the start of your shift. The Cerner PowerChart/FirstNet tutorials will demonstrate basic Cerner functions, clinical documentation tools, and the order entry process. You are required to keep a written record for yourself.
At the end of each course, your scores will display on the screen. Write your
scores on the course completion forms. Bring this course will you to the
facility.
Instructions for Sinai:
You are still required to attend a more
comprehensive classroom training session. (The training tutorials do not exempt you from class.) To register for a
training session, contact the Education Resource Center at X24680.
Instructions for Northwest:
Training classes are also available.
Upon completion of the CBT modules, should you be interested in taking
a class please contact your agency.
