Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital has been awarded a full three-year accreditation by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). This accreditation signals Levindales complete compliance with the Joint Commissions nationally recognized standards and Levindales own commitment to provide excellent care for residents and patients.
In the final report, the team conducting the survey cited the dedication, caring and compassion of Levindales employees, said Ronald Rothstein, president and COO of Levindale. The JCAHO surveyors spent one week at Levindale in January.
The Joint Commission, which was created in 1951, is dedicated to improving the safety and quality of the nations health care through voluntary accreditation. We are very proud of the hard work that Levindales employees provide every day to meet these standards, as well as state guidelines, continues Rothstein.
