Job Details:

- High school diploma or equivalent is required
Under moderate supervision, functions as patient registrar and service representative and performs various duties in selected departments. Typical duties include registering patients, performing bed control, preparing charts, collecting fees, completing bills, answering telephones and greeting guests.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. One (1) year of clerical experience. Must type 35 wpm. Must demonstrate an aptitude for computer data entry and basic operations such as log on/off and menu selection. Must possess a certificate from a recognized medical terminology course or pass a medical terminology test given by Sinai Hospital. Must demonstrate good communication, public relations, interpersonal and organizational skills.
