- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
Under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs specified routine and complex procedures and selected nursing care activities to assist in the direct or indirect care of an assigned group of patients.
Requirements: Must be scheduled to take the Maryland Board of Nursing Exam within three (3) months of graduation, or waiting for Board results. In case of international nurse, must be scheduled to take the NCLEX-RN within three (3) months of arrival to United States. Must have good communication, interpersonal, time management, clinical, teaching, and organizational skills. Must have current CPR HealthCare Provider or CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification. Must successfully complete Hospital orientation/ training program.
