- High school diploma or equivalent is required
Under limited supervision, coordinates the daily physician billing activities, including billing/coding, cash applications and collection functions; works independently to maintain consistent workflow of all billing activities. Serves as a site liaison between Professional Billing Office, physicians and third party payors.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Two years physician/professional billing experience including demonstrated ability with CPT and ICD-9 coding. Medical terminology obtained through formal training or previous experience. Computer experience required.
