Under moderate supervision, organizes and provides a variety of administrative support for department. Coordinates efficient operations by scheduling personnel and assigning workflow; maintaining confidential and general files; and handling customer and internal inquiries/requests. Researches, collects and prepares data for management assignments, reports and presentations. Drafts and prepares documentation, reports and correspondence. Performs the duties and responsibilities of the Secretary B or Medical Secretary B. Utilizes personal computer, word processing, spreadsheet applications and database management in performing tasks.
Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent. Two (2) years post high school secretarial training or equivalent. Three (3) years secretarial experience. Must type 50 wpm. Must be familiar with computer software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. Medical Secretary requires knowledge of medical terminology.
