- Bachelor's Degree is required
Under general supervision, responsible for drug inventory control, dose preparation, drug distribution, physician order processing, drug information, drug utilization, patient monitoring, and supervision of non-licensed Pharmacy personnel related to these functions. Core areas of focus include drug information, patient monitoring, and medication dispensing.
Requirements: Doctor of Pharmacy or Master of Science in Clinical Pharmacy. Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with equivalent training in a clinical setting and/or program will be considered. One (1) year of clinical experience in a hospital environment as a clinical pharmacist or equivalent. Must be registered in the State of Maryland. Membership in the following is recommended: American Society of Hospital Pharmacists, Maryland Society of Hospital Pharmacists, and ASPEN, MSPEN, ACCP.
