LifeBridge Health is holding an online auction to help raise much-needed funds for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. For the next two weeks, interested buyers can log-on to www.ebay.com or www.lifebridgehealth.org to bid on two paintings by nationally recognized artist and motivational speaker Erik Wahl.
Being a community health care system, LifeBridge Health understands the importance and the need to rebuild those communities affected by the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, said Warren Green, president and CEO, LifeBridge Health. From one community to another, LifeBridge Health will donate all of the money raised through the online auction to help restore the hundreds of neighborhoods destroyed by the flood waters.
Erik Wahl, one of the countrys top motivational speakers, inspires professionals to achieve greater levels of performance and challenges organizations to implement breakthrough-thinking techniques. Wahl, who uses his art as a presentation tool, has presented to many national and international companies including Walt Disney Entertainment, FedEx Corporation, State Farm, American Express and the National Parent Teachers Association.
During a recent LifeBridge Health Career Fair, Wahl inspired potential job seekers to create an atmosphere to think innovatively when approaching new career challenges or everyday scenarios. At the conclusion of his presentation, Wahl donated two pieces of his art to LifeBridge Health.
In response to the events taking place earlier this month along the Gulf Coast, LifeBridge Health will donate 100 percent of the proceeds of the online auction to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, which enables the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to those in need.
