Not accepting New Graduate applications at this time. Meisel 2 is a 20-bed adult and geriatric medical-psychiatric unit. This locked unit provides dementia care, medication titration, and care of the general psychiatric needs of the patient. The interdisciplinary team consists of physicians, nurses, certified geriatric nursing assistants, respiratory therapists, social workers, recreation therapists, speech language pathologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, pharmacists, physician assistants, clinical nurse specialists and a chaplain. This unit has opportunities for the experienced RN, LPN and GNA. Nurses are required to have previous experience in both medical-surgical and psychiatric and/or geropsych. There is a Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager (Charge Nurse), RN's, LPN's, and a team of Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistants. In addition, there is a full respiratory therapy team, providing full 24/7 coverage.
