Job Details:

- Associate's Degree required
Under limited supervision, responsible for a variety of inpatient/outpatient customer and outreach client functions. Extensive understanding of all clinical and anatomic pathology sections including; lab computer, test code manual, intra and internet web sites. Extensive internal and external telephone communication for the purpose of or resolving problems and relaying patient and other pertinent information. May be required to; register patients, order tests, fax reports, receive supply requests, call panic values, and prepare billing invoices. Works with the web master to assure the accuracy of all information in the laboratory websites.

Requirements: Minimum Associate�s Degree in Medical Technology. MLT (ASCP) required. Two (2) years experience in multiple areas of a medical laboratory. Demonstration of strong customer service techniques and independent analytical problem solving. Strong organizational skills. Working knowledge of hospital and laboratory and PC computer applications.
