The Critical Care Advanced Practice Nurse will utilize advanced education, as well as, clinical research and management expertise to provide quality, cost effective patient care. Works directly with consumers and in close partnership with others to promote health, manage and improve patient outcomes and quality of care, and increase the efficiency and cost effectiveness of health care delivery at Northwest Hospital Center. Applies a global perspective to the assessment of emerging trends, issues, and technology to recommend, plan, and implement changes in the Northwest care delivery system. Works in partnership with other staff members and physicians, and pro-actively identifies and provides for the customers� needs.
Master�s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and five (5) years experience as a RN, plus two (2) years in area of specialization required. Registered Nurse License in the State of Maryland. Must demonstrate good communication, interpersonal, clinical, organizational, critical thinking, teaching, leadership, group processing, and change management skills. Must have current CPR. Excellent customer service skills required.
