Jewish Convalescent & Nursing Home (JCNH) was founded in 1936 and has provided expert long-and short-term care in a homelike setting, supported by well-trained staff dedicated to enriching the quality of life for residents. Rich in Jewish culture, JCNH is the only skilled, nonprofit, strictly kosher nursing home in Baltimore County. In 1999, JCNH, which has 147 licensed beds, merged with Levindale. To supplement its diverse activities program, JCNH emphasizes family involvement. The entire JCNH family shares special occasions, such as Shabbat dinners and the renewal of wedding vows. Children, grandchildren, siblings and friends come to celebrate as well. At the same time, JCNH professionals provide continuous comprehensive rehabilitation and specialized medical and psychiatric care.
