Sinai Hospital of Baltimore has appointed Ari Salis, M.D., to the position of chief of the Department of Radiology. The promotion comes four years after he joined LifeBridge Health. His area of expertise is in oncologic diagnosis and treatment as well as trauma radiology.

Dr. Salis has already proven himself to be an asset to Sinai Hospital so we are pleased to have him take over such an important position,� said Susan Wyatt, M.D., interim chief, Department of Radiology. We look forward to moving ahead with the program and watching its continued growth under his direction.�

Salis received his medical degree from the joint B.A./M.D. program at Rutgers University. His residency was in diagnostic radiology at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He was fellowship trained in interventional radiology at Indiana University where he then joined the staff of the Radiology department.

During his career, Salis has conducted many research projects in the field of interventional radiology. This research has been published in several peer-reviewed journals.
