The goal of the Johns Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital Program in Internal Medicine is to prepare residents for a career in medicine, whether it be primary care, subspecialty, hospital based, or academic medicine. We pride ourselves in providing individualized attention and exposing each resident to a wide range of clinical services and educational opportunities.
Sinais residency program is one of three Johns Hopkins University sponsored training programs in internal medicine. The programs three-year core curriculum ensures that all areas of general medicine and medicine subspecialties are covered, as well as a variety of special topics, including business of medicine, research, nutrition, and ethics.
Our residents acceptance into first-rate fellowship programs and placement into competitive clinical positions following their training is testimony to our success and continued commitment to excellence.
Post-graduate medicine programs include a Three Year
Categorical Internal Medicine Residency and a One-Year Preliminary Internship (prior to residencies in anesthesiology, dermatology, neurology, ophthalmology, radiation oncology, radiology, or rehabilitation medicine). We also offer a combined categorical Sinai Hospital/Johns Hopkins Anesthesia Training Program.
I invite you to read our informational material, visit our program to meet with the residents and our faculty. Im sure you will agree that our program will offer you an outstanding educational experience in an exciting place to live and work.
