Under limited supervision, conducts system-wide training for employees involved in the revenue cycle process. Administers competencies and performs assessments of employees' functions with IDX. Provides comprehensive quality assessment assistance to Professional Practice Operations and applicable departments; ensures accuracy in all revenue cycle procedures and processes to increase and secure revenues for these areas. Serves as liaison for physician groups and Professional Practice Operations; conducts individual as well as revenue cycle desk audits and reports these to appropriate supervisor, identifies trends so appropriate education is developed. Responsible for supervision of assigned staff to ensure efficient, thorough office coverage and consistency in all front-desk-billing activities. Work with other Sinai Health System entities as necessary to ensure consistency and open communication.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in related field. Five (5) years related experience in health care environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to apply principals of logic or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems; ability to effectively present information; strong interpersonal skills required. Word processing and spreadsheet knowledge. Must demonstrate proficiency in automated professional billing systems.
