The branch of medicine that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases for the ear, nose, and throat is referred to as Otolaryngology. Northwest Hospital Center in Baltimore provides services to the Baltimore country and surrounding areas in the diagnosis and treatment of head and neck cancer, diseases of the ear and hearing problems, diseases of the nose and sinuses, and disease and disorders of the larynx. Other services include diagnosis and therapy for diseases of the ear, nose, and sinuses; treatment of facial bone fractures and reconstruction of facial defects; diagnosis and treatment of voice and upper airway disorders; and cosmetic reconstruction.
