- Bachelors degree is required
BS Degree in Physical Therapy and must be licensed as a PT by the Maryland Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
Requirements: Completion of clinical affiliations; Must have current CPR Healthcare Provider or CPR for the Professional Rescuer Certification.
Under Moderate Supervision Evaluates patients, plans and administers patient treatments, based on physician referral, to relieve pain and restore or improve function. Utilizes physical therapy techniques such as therapeutic exercises, hydrotherapy, electrotherapy, etc. Supervises and coordinates student activities of the Clinical Education Program. Instructs housestaff and other personnel in PT techniques, modes of treatment, etc. Position may have opportunity to rotate through outpatient, acute care and rehab units.
