Under moderate oversight and guidance from the Clinical Coordinator, performs the duties of the Patient Care Associate I, and in conjunction with patient assessment performed by licensed professional staff, performs selected advanced procedures such as IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, endotracheal suctioning, etc. In addition to performing daily assignments, routinely circulates through the unit to monitor patients' status.

Requirements: Two (2) years post high school training or equivalent experience in a position noted below. Six (6) months or more recent experience as an Emergency Medical Technician, Critical Care Technician, or Medical Corpsman. -OR- Must successfully complete educational program for Emergency Medical Technician, Critical Care Technician or Medical Corpsman AND have at least five (5) years experience as Nursing Technician - Emergency Department at Sinai Hospital.
